Low Level Laser Therapy FAQ
Q: Is Laser Therapy Safe?
A: Yes! Laser hair therapy has been proven
safe in over 2,500 scientific and medical
papers over thirty years of research. Low
level laser devices as tested by an FDA
approved testing center has been proven 100%
safer and meeting or exceeding all standards
for this type of laser. The energy produced
by the photons does not have the thermal
component to cause thermal injury to either
the user or operator.
Q: Who are the best candidates for Laser
Hair Therapy?
A: Men with male pattern baldness, women
with thinning hair, People with stress
related hair loss, transplant patients,
Alopeica areata and Alopecia totalis, and post
chemotherapy.
Q: What are the benefits of Low Level
Light Therapy?
A: It is proven to stop hair loss and regrow
hair and unlike many treatments it works on
all areas of the scalp. The light energy
stimulates blood flow to the scalp and can
increase blood supply by over 50% after just
one half hour treatment. It works for all
types of hair loss and scalp conditions
including male and female pattern baldness,
chemical damage, hormonal changes,
medications, diet and stress. It promotes
fuller, softer thicker and more manageable
hair. It can reduce scalp conditions such
as irritations and itching. LLLT increases
the tensel strength of hair and enhances the
effects of hair color, and perms by
preventing oxidation of the hair.
Non-Surgical Hair Restoration FAQ
Q: Can I wear any hairstyle that I want?
A: Yes, you can also change your hairstyle
as often as you like.
Q: How is non-surgical hair replacement
done?
A. Non-surgical hair replacement is a
process where hair is added directly to the
scalp. This hair is matched exactly to the
color, texture, density, and curl to your
own growing hair and it is completely
undetectable to sight and touch. This
technique involves creating an 8th layer of
skin and fusing it directly to the scalp.
This layer contains all the hair added to
the scalp, and this layer is so thin that it
is undetectable to the touch. Once this
process is completed; the hair is cut,
styled, and can be treated just as your own
growing hair.
Q: How long does this procedure take?
A: After a short visit for some preliminary
work it only takes 2 hours to add density or
completely recreate a new head of hair.
Q: Is there any maintenance involved with
non-surgical hair replacement?
A: As with any hair style there is always
some degree of maintenance. Whether you are
currently going to a solon to have your hair
cut, or shaving your head at home there is
some form of maintenance involved. With our
non-surgical hair replacement technique the
only maintenance involved entails you coming
to our solon to have your hair cut and
serviced. How often you come in for a solon
visit will depend on your hairstyle and rate
of growth, but our average client comes in
approximately every four to six weeks.
Q: Now that this procedure has become
more affordable and available, why aren't
more people taking advantage of this
procedure?
A: The primary reason that so many
individuals don't take action to do
something about their hair loss is the fear
that doing something may be worse than just
being bald. There are an estimated 40
million men, and 20 million women with hair
loss in the United States alone. There has
been some extensive research on determining
why so many individuals affected by hair
loss do not take any action to correct their
hair loss even after they are aware of one
or several hair replacement options. There
seems to be two primary reasons why people
are afraid to do something, one is the fear
of overnight change in appearance, and two
the fear of looking phony. Even though cost
is usually a factor in this case it doesn't
seem to be the primary concern.
Unfortunately these preconceived ideas
prevent most people from investigating
non-surgical hair replacement options. We
have found that with almost every client
during his or her first consultation they
are not aware that they can have their hair
gradually replaced just as they lost it, and
they just can't believe how natural the hair
looks in person. We encourage you to come in
and meet with one of our consultants who has
had this procedure done and discover that
the look and feel that you always wanted is
actually attainable.
Q: Are there any limitations to
activities or lifestyle?
A: No, you shampoo and care for your hair
just as if it would your own growing hair.
There is no limit to lifestyle or activity;
you can swim, water ski, rock climb, golf,
and maintain a normal healthy lifestyle.
Surgical Hair Restoration FAQ
Q: Is this procedure painful?
A: Most of our patients are very comfortable
during the procedure, and have compared this
surgery to a dentist visit. You will be
given local anesthetics before the procedure
and pain relievers for after the surgery.
Depending on how long your surgery will take
we might recommend bring a driver in case
you would like to be heavily sedated during
the procedure.
Q: How can I stop from losing my existing
hair?
A: Fortunately there are several drugs
available that are very effective at
maintaining the current hair that you have
and preventing any future hair loss. During
your initial consultation we can determine
whether you are still actively loosing hair,
and if you are; we can determine what
medical treatment would be best for you.
Q: How much does an average transplant
cost?
A: This is a common question but impossible
to determine without an examination. Every
individual is different and has different
goals. During your initial consultation we
determine what the cost is based on many
factors. In general most of our patients
invest anywhere between three thousand to
ten thousand dollars.
Q: Can you detect a transplanted hair
under very close examination?
A: No, with the technology used today you
cannot detect the difference between a hair
that has been transplanted next to an
original hair even under fifty times
magnification. The type of procedure used
today is called Follicular Unit Grafting,
and this is the latest technique used in
hair transplantation. This technique
achieves amazing results and it is the
preferred technique over multi grafting or
micro and mini grafting.
Q: Does transplanted hair ever fall out?
A: No, transplanted hair will never recede
or fall out. Even men who are extremely bald
still have hair in the donor area where the
hair is harvested; this hair is permanent
and will last a lifetime. All men with male
pattern hair loss have a certain number of
hair follicles that are genetically
programmed at birth to either grow or fall
out at some point in life. When hair is
transplanted from the donor area to the
front or top of the scalp, there is nothing
wrong with this area of the scalp. This area
of the scalp will receive the new
transplanted hairs and they will grow for a
lifetime.
Q: How is a hair transplant done?
A: Hair transplantation is a process where
donor hair from the back and sides of the
scalp is surgically removed and transplanted
to the thinning areas of the scalp.
Q: Now that this procedure has become
more affordable and available, why aren't
more people taking advantage of this
procedure?
A: The primary reason that so many
individuals don't take action to do
something about their hair loss is the fear

Q: How long does it take to recover from
transplant surgery?
A: Most people can return to work the next
day, although strenuous activity or lifting
heavy weights must be avoided for seven days
after surgery.
